But you know what?Life happens.And i love my life, so i not too worried.I sure you survived without me(For those of you who even read this fun little bloglandadventure)
There is so much to share.In truth, the month of december snuck up on me like a little mouse going for the cheese and before i knew it, it was the middle of december and sami asked me if we were getting a christmas tree this year.Yeah, it was that crazy.Of course we are sweetie mom just doesn know when.So the first day of winter break, she and wonderful husband went out and picked out a tree.It was beautiful.And it stood there with only lights on until the weekend before christmas.
And remember how i always do my shelves?
It didn happen this year.
And instead of beating myself up about it and thinking i was a really bad mom, i just told my kids that it was okay and i wasn going to stress about it.Man, did that feel good.
Enough of that and onto the title of my post.
One little word.Ali, you done it again my friend.Have you ever participated in her one little word challenges?I have for a few years now, but this year i going to embrace it more than i ever have a word.I even signed up for her online class over at big picture scrapbooking to help me keep on track.
My word for this year.Less.
I know, not real inspiring like some of the words i seen.Focus, grace, patience, endurance, power, etc.But for me, it working.Here is what my title page will say:
Can i choose just one little word when there are so many things i want to accomplish?With the recent goingson around here, finally have chosen less weight on my body.Less piles of papers that need to be gone through.Could be a subword, but really, it about more than just stuff for me this year although that is a huge part of it.
My goal is to have it all organized my studio that is and put away by january 16th.And by superbowl sunday, i have all day to go through the papers 2010 and get ready to give the tax paperwork to the tax man.
